Verified not trustworthy company and Guide called "Sagar"abandoned us in the middle of EBC Trek if i can mark 0, I would do it for sure. I am Chinese and my friend and I decided and plan to go to EBC for a year. since I didnt do much research for the Travel company, I simply picked up this company and trust them as well as paid all money inadvance without bargain. This is our first time in Nepal and first time do such a long time trek which is not easy for us so we hire the porter and guide to be protected better and minimize our risk during the EBC trek. however the most unbelievable things happened to us was that the guide he send to us I believed that he never did EBC with three pass before, he is physically not fit, we always wating for him during the trek and he was smoking alot whenever he felt tired, that was not big issue for us, we still have full of patience for him and everyday after reach above 4400m I need to make sure he is ok and ask him about his feeling. one day, he was disappeared for entire afternoon since we planed to go to Chukong Ri, when he showed up he told me that he was sick......we can tolerate for that since everyone can be sick occasionally. however, he just take our kind heart for granted!! when we arrived base camp, and did anther high point to see the Mt everst, he was leading me at beginning, but same again happened was in the middle of the climbing he was slow down again and stop for smoking, I have to continue since i felt cold, when I near the top there were big rocks and I didn't find the way, he still far away from me then I ask loudly where should I go, he said: "whatever just go straight".....I told him that i couldnt find the way, he just pretend that he didnt hear anything. ....that was 5am in the morning with full of darkness. while, this is not the worst thing happen to me and my friend, the most awful thing was he did same thing to us when we climb the Gokyo Ri, he stopped in the middle of the climbing, and reluctant to go to the top and ask my friend together waiting for me back to them....my friend refused him, then he slowly went to the top and 30mins behind me. After we take pictures he told us he want go to the bottom and we can walk slowly by ourselves. Then, he rush to the bottom and when we walk done to the bottom he was smoking again, and I was angry and said to him: "if you feel sick, you can wait us in Namchem just leave the porter to us. " we never expect a shocked and unexpected behavior happened to us was that we couldn't find him in the evening, and asked hotel staff to find him and he said he wont go with us and he will take the porter with him together and we need to find new guide and porter!!!!!!! he abandoned us in Gokyo and at that time the entire Gokyo was no internet connection!!!! me and my friend was mentally and physically hurt by this guide named "Sagar", it so lucky that I can speak English but how about I cant? what we are going to face? I am very appreciated that the manager of Gokyo Resort helped us to find a porter and we did pass the Renjo Pass and get back safely and as well as other guides from Guests on the way helped us a lot. however, when I contacted this company to pay me the Porter fee because of what did on the guide, he refused to pay at first and said how to confirm that you really spend 7000 on to hire a porter? I didnt receive any update for how they are going to do with the guide , even when the day I am go back to China, this company didnt contact us to say goodby ...... please avoid this company if you can, the company didnt have professional guide and they just know earn money and careless the safety of the client.
